2012-2013 InterDistrict/IntraDistrict Transfer Requests

The Eureka Union School District began accepting Interdistrict and Intradistrict Transfer Requests for the 2012-2013 school year on
January 9, 2012. All applications received in the district office by April 15, 2012, will be reviewed by our school site principals.  Decision letters will be sent out in May.

If you reside outside of the Eureka Union School District boundaries, you should contact your district of residence to complete an
Interdistrict Transfer form.  Families who currently have an approved Intradistrict Transfer form also to need to reapply annually.
Intradistrict forms are available at your school site or the district office.

If you are employed within the Eureka School District boundaries, your children are qualified to enroll in the Eureka Union School District without the need for an InterDistrict Transfer.  Read more here about the Allen Bill.

English Learner Parent Meeting
The March District English Learner parent meeting date and time has to be changed. The new date is March 28^th from 5pm to 6pm. Please view the attached letter.   Looking forward to seeing you there!

Kindergarten Registration Begins February 1st
Kindergarten Registration begins February 1st in the Eureka Union School District. If you have an incoming Kindergarten student for the 2012-2013 school year, you may pick up a registration packet at any of the K-3 schools:

We will begin accepting completed packets February 1^st.  Included in the registration packet are the times of school tours and the Parent Welcome and Information Night.  We are looking forward to your child’s great first step into school.  Welcome!

ESF's Annual Giving Campaign and Town Hall Meeting

ESF’s Annual Giving Campaign (AGC) is underway!  This is the largest fundraiser of the year in support of fundamental enrichment programs such as Library, Technology, Band, Choir, Spanish and Athletics.  100% participation is needed from all district families to sustain these valuable programs.  Read more here about the AGC or to donate now.

Academic Performance Index (API) Scores Released by State
The State of California released the 2011 Academic Performance Index (API) scores for all schools in the state on Wednesday, August 31^st.  We are very proud to announce our 2011 district API of 907. The Eureka Union School District is currently the only district in Placer County with an API score over 900.  Read more...
